Growing your own food is an incredibly satisfying experience. Nothing beats the freshness of herbs and veggies from your own garden.

What we can do for you:

We love a good raised bed that matches your desired aesthetic. Cedar is the standard choice, but we also source custom steel beds and corrugated metal beds. Want a powder coating that matches your siding? You got it. How about cedar beds that will age into that lovely shade of gray? Done. Ready to go all-in on a full-scale patio/garden fence/raised bed project? We’re ready too. We will work with all of your preferences to build the most aesthetically pleasing and cohesive garden for your herbs, veggies, and fruits.

Large garden plots on the ground can yield greater variety and yields than raised beds. However, they are much more heavily dependent on soil quality, weather conditions, drainage, and more. We'll help you design, organize, plow, plant, and care for your garden so that you get the best experience from your food plot.

A lot of consideration goes into caring for your garden. If you opt-in, we send out reminders to all of our clients for things like seasonal changes, planting times, maintenance recommendations, and more. We’re here for you!

Building long-lasting paths and patios is as much about the preparation as it is laying down the material. We build all of our paths and patios with a gravel and sand base so that they will last a lifetime.

Attention to detail and a willingness to go the extra mile also mean a great deal when it comes to your paths and patios. Do you want a staggered “stretcher bond” pattern for your path? A color contrasted basket weave pattern for your patio to give it that Southwest vibe? We’ll work with you to build a cohesive aesthetic that matches your preferred vision.

Poultry Plots

Chickens and other poultry birds are a fun and rewarding way to start farming your own food. We can help you get started in the right direction so that it remains fun, safe, and rewarding for years to come.

What we can do for you:

All poultry starts with the right coop. There are cost effective options from established farm stores or home improvement retailers. While this is the most affordable option, the build and material quality can vary greatly. If we build your coop you can be sure that it will last for years to come. Not everyone will need a bespoke setup, however. We will work with your budget and goals to decide whether you need a more standard, affordable coop or a more custom solution for your birds.

After choosing the right coop, the next most important thing is easily ensuring that your poultry space is predator proof. A great many animals would love to eat your poultry birds including: raccoons, opossums, skunks, bobcats, birds of prey, and even other domesticated dogs and cats. We’ll do everything that we can to prevent your coop from becoming KFC for the local wildlife.

And finally, feeding and caring for your birds is a simple, but important daily step in making sure that you have a great time when raising your poultry birds. We’ll help you get on your feet before you embark on your poultry journey.

Aerating your lawn and seeding are frequently overlooked when it comes to your lawn’s care, but they are very important. The Cole Bros will make sure that your lawn stays green and lush by aerating, weeding, and seeding strategically throughout the year.

There is a growing movement in which people are foregoing heavily manicured lawns altogether and reinvesting native grasses from their region into their lawns to transform them back into a more natural state. If this sounds like something that you are interested in then we can work with you to achieve this as well. We want to make your experience as seamless as possible no matter your goals.

With our walkway lighting solutions you’ll never have to worry about running over a devious critter or a stumbling your way to your outside bin again.

Sometimes you just need lights strung up around your outdoor kitchen or would like improved visibility around playhouses for when your kids or grandkids are soaking up those summer nights. What we can do for you:

The best way to keep deer around your blind during hunting season is to keep them around your blind all year long. A surefire way to make sure that they remain close by is to keep corn moving in the area or, if you really want to get wild, building up a turnip or veggie patch in the firing zone. Whether you have a hunting lease or you’re hunting on a place of your very own, we can help you maintain the presence of wildlife year round so that you never go empty handed during hunting season.

An issue that can arise when you maintain a corn feeder or veggie patch all year round is inviting all of the unwanted guests to your hunting space. Hogs, armadillos, and more can wreak havoc on your efforts. We’ll work to varmint and hog-proof your feeding patch so that you don’t have to worry about something competing with your deer for their groceries.

At The Cole Bros, we've grown up in hay fields so we know what it means to have solid, healthy hay for your livestock. We’ll work with you to identify your hay goals and we’ll work within your budget to seed, properly fertilize, and enrich your hay fields. Additionally, we’ve expanded upon modern hay field practices to offer a new service. We’ll come to your hay fields and build out comprehensive maps for obstructions, pH values, and moisture values. And while we’re at it we’ll collect samples from key zones to send off to your local ag extension offices based on the info that you want. We’re happy when you have happy cows come winter time and flushed with healthy grass come cutting time.
